Too dark, too macabre.
In February 2023, we had the honor of being interviewed by Insider about our “too dark too macabre” gothic home decor. (Fun fact: the article was actually published on our 2/27 wedding anniversary!)
This interview occurred towards the beginning of our remodeling journey when everything felt new. Since then, we’ve been further developing our ideas and plans, and have started making progress on other projects. For example, we recently designed our own coffin shelf and refinished a dining room table and chairs set. We also installed some built-in closet shelves and started decorating our pirate-Viking-adventure office.
Next up is turning our garage into a cyber steampunk workshop so we can start working on more creative projects. This includes creating items you’ll be able to use around your own gothic lairs – stay tuned for more information!
